Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Non‑profit (UAE)

About the role

The organisation, a well‑established non‑profit operating across the GCC, seeks a dynamic Chief Executive Officer / Executive Director to steer its next phase of growth, partnerships and regional engagement. This senior leader will shape strategic direction, expand the organisation’s footprint and ensure sustainable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic growth agenda and regional expansion initiatives.
• Lead fundraising activities targeting corporate sponsors, donors and strategic partners.
• Build and nurture senior relationships across the GCC ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with the Board and senior leadership stakeholders.
• Oversee organisational operations, team leadership and programme execution.
• Represent the organisation externally at industry, government and partner forums.

Required profile

• Prior experience as CEO, Executive Director, Managing Director or equivalent senior leadership role.
• Fluent Arabic speaker; UAE‑based candidates only.
• Extensive exposure to the GCC market with a strong regional network.
• Proven hands‑on fundraising experience.
• Background in non‑profits, foundations, philanthropy, CSR or impact‑focused organisations preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
