Chief Operating Officer – Shipping & Logistics

About the role

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving operational performance, service excellence and sustainable growth across the company's integrated logistics platform in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all UAE operational activities across sea, air and land freight forwarding, procurement, customs clearance, yard management, fleet, service centres, PDI, warehousing and contract logistics.
• Develop and execute the UAE operations strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth plans.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardisation, productivity and cost optimisation across all functions.
• Take partial P&L responsibility, managing operating costs, margins, budgets and resource utilisation.
• Lead operational transformation initiatives including process re‑engineering, automation and digitalisation.
• Support business expansion through new services, strategic partnerships and operational investments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.
• 15–25 years of experience in supply chain management, with executive leadership experience in large‑scale, multi‑site or multi‑country operations.
• Proven track record in the GCC/UAE logistics sector is preferred.
• Visionary, results‑oriented leader with strong commercial mindset and high executive presence.
