Chief Steward

About the role

The Chief Steward leads the stewarding department at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, ensuring seamless support for all hotel operations. This senior position combines leadership, operational oversight, and a strong focus on hygiene, safety, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective stewarding systems and procedures to support hotel operations.
• Supervise all stewarding staff, facilities, operations, and associated costs.
• Coordinate with colleagues to maintain par stocks, supplies, and approve storeroom requisitions.
• Ensure cleanliness of all facilities and equipment.
• Schedule preventative maintenance and liaise with Engineering.
• Enforce health and safety standards, proper chemical handling, and use of safety materials.
• Lead energy‑conservation and environmental initiatives within the hotel.
