Children Activity Assistant

About the role

The Children Activity Assistant supports the youth program at Le Meridien, delivering fun, educational, and caring services to children of members and guests in a warm, welcoming environment. You will engage with children and parents, organize activities, and help maintain a safe and clean club area.

Key responsibilities

• Organize arts and crafts, lead games, read stories and sing songs for children.
• Promote the club’s youth programs, assist parents with program registration and answer inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of facilities and equipment, including visual inspections and routine upkeep.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; ensure CPR and First Aid certifications are current.
• Welcome guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and handle telephone calls using professional etiquette.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Any additional certification or training required by local or state agencies for recreation equipment.
• Ability to work in a warm, welcoming environment with children and parents.
