Civil Engineer

About the role

Jadan Landscaping L.L.C. is looking for a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer to join its growing team in Dubai. The engineer will oversee site operations, supervise civil and hardscape works, coordinate with project stakeholders and make sure construction activities follow approved drawings, quality standards and project deadlines. Candidates with practical UAE experience in civil construction, landscaping or contracting are sought, and those able to join immediately are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil works across landscaping and contracting projects.
• Monitor daily site activities against approved drawings, technical specifications and project requirements.
• Oversee hardscape works such as paving, kerbs, concrete works and blockwork.
• Review construction drawings and technical details before and during execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
• Monitor progress, manpower, materials and site resources, and conduct site inspections for quality and safety.
• Prepare progress reports, work measurements and project documentation.
• Assist with quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, material estimation and cost control.
• Resolve technical and site issues to minimise delays and keep works on schedule.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2-3 years of UAE experience in civil construction, landscaping or contracting projects.
• Good knowledge of civil construction, landscaping and hardscape works.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications and project plans.
• Experience in site supervision, quantity measurements and material estimation.
• Knowledge of BOQ preparation and construction cost control.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and collaborate with project teams.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is an added advantage.
