Civil Engineer – QA/QC

About the role

The company is seeking a Civil Engineer specialized in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) to oversee the quality aspects of construction projects. You will ensure that all works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Conduct material inspections and approvals for cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, etc.
• Review and verify material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, contractors, and site engineers.
• Raise, track, and close Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Perform site quality inspections, prepare reports, and ensure proper execution of structural works.
• Witness field tests such as slump, cube, and soil compaction tests.
• Maintain quality records, checklists, and documentation.
• Monitor concrete pouring, curing procedures, and equipment calibration.
• Conduct internal audits, site quality meetings, and subcontractor performance reviews.

Required profile

• Relevant civil engineering qualification.
• Proven experience in QA/QC within construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams on site.
