Civil Engineering Coordination Manager

About the role

NAFFCO is looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Coordination Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team in Dubai. The role focuses on ensuring all technical deliverables are accurate, on schedule, and aligned with construction and procurement plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate civil, structural, architectural, MEP, BIM, procurement and construction teams.
• Assign priorities, monitor workloads and guarantee deadlines are met.
• Manage drawings, calculations, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, specifications and other technical submissions.
• Maintain engineering schedules, trackers, document registers and revision controls.
• Coordinate internal reviews, handle comments, and manage resubmissions.
• Align engineering outputs with construction and procurement timelines.
• Identify technical issues, clashes, missing information and potential delays.
• Improve workflows, reporting templates and overall team productivity.
• Monitor performance through KPIs and promote accountability, speed and accuracy.
• Escalate critical technical issues and delays to the Construction Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or a related engineering discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in construction, contracting, modular construction, fit‑out, industrial or MEP projects.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, material submittals, approvals and document control.
• Excellent planning, communication, coordination and follow‑up abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and AutoCAD.
• Experience with BIM/Revit and project or document‑management systems is preferred.
