Civil Inspector – Roads & Infrastructure (Tagalog Speaker)

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is looking for a skilled Civil Inspector for major infrastructure projects in Dubai focused on roads, highways, utilities, drainage and traffic management systems. The inspector ensures that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards. The position is full time and requires willingness to relocate to Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor construction of roads, highways, utilities and drainage systems to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain daily inspection reports and all required documentation.
• Verify that only approved materials are used and conduct labor compliance checks.
• Maintain accurate as-built records and identify and report issues, conflicts or non-conformities with recommendations for resolution.
• Coordinate with subconsultants on surveying and material testing, and oversee workmanship and equipment alignment.
• Assist in preparing quality control reports and supporting the development of QA/QC procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction inspection, specifically on roads, highways, drainage and utilities projects.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with contractors, engineers and project teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD or MicroStation is an advantage (not mandatory).
• Knowledge of Equinex is an added advantage (training can be provided).
