Civil Supervisor

About the role

The Civil Supervisor will lead the strategic direction of facilities and engineering services for assigned assets, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high‑performing environment. Working closely with the Property Manager and outsourced service providers, the role oversees maintenance, budgeting, and continuous improvement of building operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement best‑practice building operation plans for assigned properties.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitor expenditures and ensure compliance.
• Inspect facilities and equipment, coordinate alterations, maintenance and reconditioning as required.
• Lead competitive bidding for non‑engineering contracts, evaluate proposals and finalize agreements.
• Approve purchases of supplies and equipment, maintain inventory records and property condition reports.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programmes (PPM) and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
• Analyse call‑center data, identify service improvements and report on engineering market developments.
• Produce monthly operational reports, billing sheets, P&L statements and maintain a document library.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities or civil engineering supervision, preferably within a property or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, contract management and preventive maintenance processes.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including external service providers and internal teams.
• Commitment to health and safety compliance and continuous service improvement.
