Civil Technical Office Engineer – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Technical Office Engineer to join our construction team in Dubai. The role involves supporting project execution through detailed technical office functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage shop drawings and as‑built drawings.
• Develop and update Bills of Quantities (BOQ), perform quantity take‑offs and cost estimations.
• Coordinate material submittals, approvals, and procurement activities.
• Review drawings, liaise with site teams and consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all work complies with Dubai Municipality, DM, DDA, RTA, and Tarakhees system requirements.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience as a Technical Office Engineer in UAE construction firms.
• Previous experience on Dubai projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and municipality requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• AutoCAD
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Quantity surveying and procurement
• BOQ preparation, quantity take‑off, cost estimation
• Material submittal management
• Familiarity with DM, DDA, RTA, and Tarakhees systems
