Class Teacher – KG & Cycle 1 (Early Years & Key Stage 1)

About the role

Al Danah International Community Schools is looking for a motivated Class Teacher to join its Early Years and Cycle 1 team. You will deliver the British curriculum to children aged 3‑7 in a vibrant international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for KG/Cycle 1 in line with the British curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, record and report on student progress.
• Create a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Primary Education.
• PGCE or equivalent leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the UK.
• Valid teaching licence from your home country.
• 2‑3 years full‑time teaching experience in KG or Cycle 1 within a British curriculum school.
• Experience in an international school is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in integrating educational technology into classroom practice.
• Strong organisational and classroom‑management abilities.
• Ability to use assessment data to inform teaching.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
