Classroom Assistant (UAE National) – Immediate Start

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated UAE National Classroom Assistant to join Yasmina American School in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will start immediately and work closely with teachers to ensure every child receives high‑quality, supportive instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of individual education programmes.
• Support pupils with emotional, behavioural or additional learning needs.
• Maintain pupil records, prepare displays of work and assist with classroom organisation.
• Help teachers with photocopying, material preparation and other instructional tasks.
• Promote health and safety, attend staff meetings and collaborate with therapists as required.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by the principal.

Required profile

• UAE national with a genuine passion for working with children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability in attendance, punctuality and professional dress.
• Ability to follow school policies and health‑safety regulations.
