Clinical Psychologist – Part‑Time

About the role

Metabolic Health is looking for a licensed Clinical Psychologist to review, interpret, and document standardized psychological assessments and patient‑reported outcome measures (PROMs) as part of routine clinical care. The role focuses on ensuring accurate evaluation, compliance with billing regulations, and integration of findings into multidisciplinary care plans.

Key responsibilities

• Review completed psychological questionnaires and PROMs (e.g., PHQ‑9, GAD‑7, PAID, EQ‑5D‑5L, STOP‑BANG) and provide professional interpretation.
• Prepare structured clinical reports in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), documenting findings, recommendations, and time spent.
• Support compliant billing by ensuring documentation meets CPT coding and insurance requirements, collaborating with coding and billing teams.
• Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, and other professionals to incorporate psychological insights into personalized care plans and refer patients when needed.
• Contribute to quality‑assurance initiatives, standardizing assessment workflows and monitoring outcomes.

Required profile

• Active DHA license as a Clinical Psychologist (or eligibility with DataFlow verification).
• Post‑graduate degree in clinical psychology meeting DHA standards.
• Minimum five years of post‑qualification experience in an adult outpatient or medical setting.
• Proven experience interpreting standardised measures such as PHQ‑9 and GAD‑7.
• Fluent written and spoken English, good standing certificate, and current BLS certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for structured reporting.
• Knowledge of CPT coding and psychological assessment billing requirements.
• Risk assessment and escalation skills, including handling suicidal ideation.
