Clinical Resource Nurse - Medical Surgical

About the role

Fakeeh Health, a healthcare group based in the UAE, is hiring a Clinical Resource Nurse for its medical surgical unit in Dubai. The nurse acts as a clinical expert and resource person, supporting education, competency training and consultation to improve patient outcomes and optimise nursing practice. The role involves mentoring staff, working with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring adherence to policies, clinical guidelines and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor new nurses and staff and assess their educational needs
• Advise colleagues on complex clinical issues, treatment plans and patient care strategies
• Deliver educational programmes, workshops and training on clinical practice, new technologies and best practices
• Evaluate clinical practices and patient care processes and report on clinical metrics
• Work with the quality improvement team and help develop and revise clinical guidelines, protocols and policies
• Coordinate staff training on medical equipment with the biomedical department and the LSTC
• Act as an EMR / nursing informatics resource person and evaluate specialty nursing forms
• Support transition-to-practice, student clinical training and RN residency programmes
• Support nursing research and Unit Based Councils, and take part in CME lectures, courses, workshops and symposia

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Minimum of 2 years' full-time post-registration experience in a related specialty
• License from the country of origin and a practice license from the regional regulator (e.g. SCFHS / DHA)
• BLS, ACLS and other LSTC courses as applicable
