Cloud Domain Architect – Enterprise Cloud Solutions

About the role

Black Pearl is looking for an experienced Cloud Domain Architect to lead enterprise‑level cloud initiatives across the United Arab Emirates. The role will shape cloud strategy, ensure secure and scalable implementations, and support digital transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, patterns and governance frameworks.
• Define landing‑zone, networking, IAM, security, container, disaster‑recovery and observability standards.
• Review high‑level and low‑level cloud designs, infrastructure and DR architectures.
• Provide hands‑on architectural guidance, identify cloud risks and manage technical debt.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend appropriate solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of infrastructure and cloud experience.
• Proven expertise in cloud architecture and governance at enterprise scale.
• Experience working in government, regulated‑sector or large‑enterprise environments is an advantage.
• Relevant cloud architecture certification preferred.
