Cloud Ops & DevOps Lead – Azure (Senior Platform Engineer)

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Ops & DevOps Lead with deep Azure expertise to design, build and scale cloud and hybrid‑cloud environments for a leading enterprise. The role focuses on establishing a secure, scalable foundation, operationalising Azure AI services and driving cost efficiency through FinOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy greenfield Azure environments using a landing‑zone approach.
• Integrate and manage Azure AI services such as OpenAI, AI Search, Document Intelligence and Content Safety.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Manage the API lifecycle using Azure API Management and Kong.
• Drive cloud cost optimisation and monitoring (FinOps).
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with Azure cloud platforms.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Terraform.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure AI services and OpenAI.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture (VNETs, Private Link, firewalls).
• Experience with Azure API Management or Kong.
• Ability to produce clear architecture and design documentation.
