Cloud Security Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Security Specialist with 3–5 years of experience to protect and optimise cloud environments for a leading logistics and transportation company in Saudi Arabia. The role involves implementing security controls, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security controls across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud environments.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure for threats, vulnerabilities and suspicious activities.
• Manage IAM configurations, role‑based and privileged access controls.
• Conduct cloud security assessments and provide risk mitigation recommendations.
• Support vulnerability management, remediation and patching processes.
• Configure and operate cloud security tools, logging, monitoring and SIEM integrations.
• Implement encryption, key management, data protection and backup security controls.
• Participate in security audits, compliance assessments and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in cloud security, cybersecurity or information security.
• Proven experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).

Required skills

• AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud platform expertise.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) and privileged access controls.
• Network security, encryption, logging and monitoring.
• Vulnerability management and remediation.
• Knowledge of NIST, CIS and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud‑native security tools and SIEM platforms.
• Understanding of DevSecOps and secure CI/CD practices.
