Cloud Solutions Architect – Alliances

About the role

Canonical is looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect to join its Alliances team in the United Arab Emirates. You will work with top-tier partners such as Intel, Nvidia, Google, Dell and Accenture to help them adopt Ubuntu, OpenStack, Kubernetes and related open‑source technologies for their customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to OEMs, global system integrators, ISVs and cloud partners on Canonical’s product portfolio.
• Assist partners in designing, deploying and optimizing public and private cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with business leaders to define joint go‑to‑market programs and ensure technical alignment.
• Answer complex partner and customer questions across the full open‑source stack, from kernel to edge.
• Contribute to field engineering best practices and share knowledge across the global team.

Required profile

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure and open‑source platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
• Experience working with hardware manufacturers, system integrators or software vendors is a plus.
