Cluster General Manager – Hospitality

About the role

The Cluster General Manager leads the strategic, operational, financial and commercial performance of three assets – Movenpick Jumeirah Lakes Towers, voco Jumeirah Lakes Towers and Riva Beach Club. The role demands a commercially driven, people‑focused leader who can maximise revenue, ensure brand standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences across the cluster.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall business strategy for the cluster in alignment with owner expectations, brand standards and UHM objectives.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and business planning process, setting clear commercial strategies and operational priorities.
• Drive profitability through effective cost management, revenue optimisation, productivity improvement and strategic decision‑making.
• Identify new business opportunities to enhance market share, profitability and asset value.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, brand representatives and key stakeholders.
• Provide leadership oversight to all operational departments, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, quality assurance, health & safety regulations and operational policies.
• Collaborate with Rooms, F&B, Engineering, Finance, Sales & Marketing, HR and support functions.
• Work with Sales & Marketing and Revenue Management to maximise revenue across rooms, F&B, events and leisure.
• Leverage cluster synergies, shared resources and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Drive F&B profitability and lifestyle positioning of Riva Beach Club.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and business intelligence to inform proactive commercial decisions.

• Ability to inspire, develop and lead high‑performing leadership teams across multiple assets.
