Cluster Painter and Polisher

About the role

The Cluster Painter & Polisher maintains the appearance and condition of painted, polished, and decorative surfaces across two hotel properties, ensuring brand standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out painting, polishing, varnishing, staining and finishing works throughout both hotels.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks and applying primers.
• Perform touch‑up painting, corrective works and minor repairs in guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, offices and back‑of‑house areas.
• Polish and restore wooden furniture, doors, decorative panels and fixtures.
• Attend maintenance requests, complete work orders promptly and support preventive maintenance projects.
• Ensure safety, proper isolation, signage and protection of guest belongings during work.
• Maintain tools, equipment and stock levels of paints and polishing materials.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational training in painting, decorating, carpentry finishing or related trade (preferred).
• 2–3 years experience as a painter/polisher, preferably in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or similar environment.
• Good knowledge of paints, varnishes, stains, primers and polishing materials.
• Ability to work at heights, follow health‑and‑safety procedures and use PPE.
• Basic English communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team.

• Handling of paints, thinners, chemicals safely.
