Commercial Litigation Associate (DIFC Disputes)

About the role

A leading Dubai-based boutique disputes practice is looking for a mid-level to senior associate to join its growing team, focusing on DIFC Court litigation and complex commercial disputes. The practice is led by a recognised disputes partner who acts on complex cross-border matters for sovereigns, state entities and multinational corporates, and is expanding the team to unlock new mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients on high-value commercial litigation matters before the DIFC Courts.
• Work alongside broader regional disputes work.
• Manage matters with an increasing degree of autonomy.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' DIFC Courts experience gained in private practice (essential).
• Common law qualified; common law qualification preferred.
• Dubai-based candidates strongly preferred, or those with a clear commitment to relocating.

Required skills

• Strong background in litigation commercial disputes.
• Excellent drafting, advocacy support and client management skills.
