Commercial Strategy & Performance Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, data‑driven Commercial Strategy & Performance Analyst to be the analytical backbone of our local account team. You will own the data infrastructure, reporting engines, and AI‑enabled analytics that power target setting, performance tracking, and bonus calculations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain daily/weekly/monthly dashboards and performance reports covering GMV, account growth, retention, and revenue.
• Execute bonus cycle operations, including commission calculations, data validation, and payout support.
• Own KPI tracking, ensure data quality, and provide accurate scorecards across markets.
• Conduct deep‑dive business analysis to diagnose portfolio performance and support strategic recommendations.
• Champion AI‑powered analytics by using LLM tools to auto‑generate insights, narratives, and business reviews.
• Develop AI‑enabled self‑serve tools such as chat‑based query interfaces and automated insight alerts for account managers.
• Automate manual reporting processes with scripts, AI workflows, or pipeline improvements.
• Support target setting and forecasting with data models, machine‑learning forecasts, and scenario analyses.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in business analysis, commercial analytics, sales operations, or similar roles within e‑commerce, food delivery, or internet platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, especially for bonus/commission calculations and target tracking.
• Ability to work independently on analytical projects while supporting senior leadership.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to commercial stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL for complex queries across large multi‑source datasets.
• Expert‑level Excel/Google Sheets.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) and prompt engineering for analysis.
• Experience with Python or R, forecasting, and machine‑learning concepts (optional but a plus).
