About the role
Home Bakery is looking for a Commis 2 cook to support its kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, plating and keeping the workspace organized and hygienic. The position is full time and is open to candidates based at the Home Bakery kitchens in Sharjah, Al Jimi Mall and Ras Al Khaimah.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking of basic dishes.
- Prepare and present dishes according to recipes and company standards.
- Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef during daily operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic workstation.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Help receive, store and organize ingredients and supplies.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop.
