Commis 2 – Food & Beverage Team Member

About the role

The Commis 2 supports the culinary team at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Dubai by preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. This full‑time, on‑site position is essential for delivering the brand’s high standards of food quality and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Cook and assemble hot and cold dishes, ensuring quality, presentation and temperature standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Monitor food quality throughout preparation and conduct taste tests as needed.
• Set up and break down work stations, and maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, tools and equipment.
• Check appliance and food temperatures, and follow all safety, security and hygiene policies.
• Support team communication, maintain professional appearance and protect company assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant food‑service or kitchen experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb and perform repetitive motions for an entire shift.
• No supervisory experience required.
