About the role

The Commis I supports the culinary team at Autograph Collection Hotels in Dubai by preparing ingredients, cooking under supervision, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This full‑time, on‑site position offers hands‑on experience in a high‑end hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and portion ingredients, chop, weigh, store food, and wash/peel fruits and vegetables.
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers, and test foods for proper cooking.
Set up and break down work stations, serve food in correct portions, and maintain hygiene by washing and disinfecting tools and surfaces.
Monitor food quality, follow recipes and presentation standards, and ensure temperature compliance.

Required profile

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in food preparation or kitchen operations.
No supervisory experience required.
