Commis Waiter – Mediterranean Dining – Dubai

About the role

Sirene by GAIA, a Mediterranean dining destination in Dubai, is seeking an enthusiastic Commis Waiter to support the service team in a high‑end beach club environment. The role offers the chance to develop hospitality skills while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Support Waiters and Headwaiters to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Assist with table setup, clearing, resetting, and maintain dining areas to high standards.
• Provide attentive and friendly service to guests throughout their experience.
• Help with food and beverage service as directed by senior team members.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials.
• Keep service stations fully stocked and organized during shifts.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and uphold venue presentation standards.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and service procedures.
• Support the wider service team during busy periods and contribute to a positive team environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commis Waiter, Runner, or similar role in a restaurant, fine‑dining, or beach‑club setting (preferred).
• Genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional appearance and well‑presented manner.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Based in Dubai and available for a face‑to‑face interview and trial shift.

Required skills
