About the role

El Dorado Capital is seeking a Systematic Commodities Quantitative Analyst to join its investment team in Dubai. You will apply quantitative techniques to uncover opportunities in global commodities markets and help shape data‑driven investment strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate opportunities across the global commodities market.
• Conduct intra‑ and inter‑commodity research to build and refine quantitative models.
• Generate and validate algorithmic models using train‑test and live‑test methodologies.
• Develop systematic investment strategies with a strong focus on risk management.
• Monitor daily market activity, collaborate from idea generation to execution, and produce post‑market analyses and trading reports.
• Continuously generate new ideas and adapt to evolving market conditions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Agricultural Economics.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of regulated financial market dynamics.
• Solid foundation in statistics and data analysis.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adaptation in a dynamic market.
