Communications and Content Executive

About the role

We are looking for a creative Communications and Content Executive to join the Marketing team at Middlesex University Dubai. The role will drive content creation and media relations to support student recruitment and enhance the university’s brand visibility across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a content strategy aligned with short‑term and long‑term recruitment objectives.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Design teams to plan and deliver content across all communication channels.
• Source, create, edit and publish engaging, accurate, and thought‑provoking content.
• Maintain an editorial calendar and proactively source stories from across the university.
• Manage the relationship with the PR agency to maximise media coverage and brand visibility.
• Update the corporate portfolio with statistics, achievements, accreditations and partnerships.
• Create content guidelines and tools for print, digital and media use.
• Partner with the Webmaster to optimise content for SEO and improve website performance.
• Research new ideas to engage target audiences and stay ahead of marketing trends while ensuring compliance with copyright, data protection and brand standards.

Required profile

• Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Minimum two years recent experience in communications, content or marketing roles.
• Proven work experience in content creation and communications, with an impressive portfolio of written work.
• Excellent spoken and written English, strong collaboration and attention to detail.
• Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners.
• Ability to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
