Communications Manager, Surgery EMEA

About the role

We are looking for a Communications Manager for the Surgery Business Unit in the EMEA region. The role will support growth priorities, innovation milestones and stakeholder engagement across priority markets using external, media, internal and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the EMEA communications strategy for the Surgery BU, aligned to growth priorities and key milestones.
• Partner with business leaders to translate priorities into clear, compelling campaigns across media, executive, internal and digital channels.
• Own channel management such as home pages, distribution lists and newsletters.
• Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, Government Affairs and global Media Relations to align communications and obtain approvals.
• Work with local agencies and freelancers to maximise campaign impact.
• Use data and insights to continuously improve effectiveness and leverage global reports.
• Operate in a matrixed environment, building strong relationships with leaders, marketing and content sources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in communications, corporate affairs or public affairs, preferably in healthcare, med‑tech or regulated industries.
• Deep knowledge of the EMEA region and its nuances.
• Strong writing, storytelling and communication abilities.
• Comfort with IT systems and willingness to learn new digital distribution tools.
