About the role
The Company Manager will oversee the daily artistic operations of the resort’s entertainment show, ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of the cast and stage crew. This role is central to maintaining a positive work environment and smooth production flow.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily artistic operations, focusing on cast and stage management, health, safety and security.
- Coordinate with the Resident Director, Choreographer, Stage Management and Technical Managers to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Maintain open dialogue between performers, creative teams and production stakeholders.
- Monitor morale, address wellbeing concerns and escalate issues to producers as needed.
- Oversee payroll, overtime, attendance records and timesheet usage in partnership with finance.
- Handle petty cash, credit‑card purchases and budgetary responsibilities.
- Provide policy guidance, manage employee relations and oversee performer discipline, including disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Process leave of absence paperwork in coordination with HR and Workers’ Compensation.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum four years of experience in theatre management, preferably on large‑scale live productions.
- Proven ability to manage staff, work under pressure and motivate teams.
