Compliance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Compliance Officer to join our team in Dubai. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust compliance frameworks that safeguard our operations against illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, initiate and maintain policies, procedures and standards for compliance covering anti‑fraud, anti‑money laundering and data privacy.
• Ensure internal policies fully comply with applicable legislation and regulations.
• Contribute to the risk registry, assessment framework and overall risk management process.
• Build and maintain a database of compliance requirements linked to shareholder and loan documentation.
• Provide compliance input to risk associates and design processes to guarantee adherence.
• Create handbooks and compliance manuals for all offices.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with regulators through a structured engagement plan.
• Offer compliance advice and support to directors, management and staff as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience within a financial institution.
• Experience with DFSA‑regulated entities.
• Familiarity with international markets, especially the META region, is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
