Computer Science / IT Teacher (Start August)

About the role

GEMS Education is looking for a Computer Science / IT Teacher to join GEMS Founders School in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver the school’s computer science curriculum and inspire students to develop strong digital skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science and IT lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
• Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.

Required profile

• Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent, or a PGCE with QTS.
• Demonstrated track record of outstanding learning and teaching.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, staff and parents.
