Construction Helper

About the role

Salsabeel Holding Building Contracting is seeking a Construction Helper to support building construction and property execution activities in Ajman. The successful candidate will assist skilled tradespeople and site teams with daily construction tasks while following project instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers and other construction workers with assigned tasks.
• Load, unload, carry and organize construction materials, tools and equipment around the worksite.
• Prepare work areas, mix or move materials and support basic installation and finishing activities as directed.
• Maintain clean, orderly and hazard‑free work areas throughout the shift.
• Use hand tools and personal protective equipment safely and report damaged tools or unsafe conditions.
• Follow supervisor instructions, site access requirements and applicable construction safety procedures.
• Support routine site preparation, dismantling, debris removal and general labour activities.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of construction site practices, materials, tools and work instructions.
• Ability to lift, carry, move and position materials safely during routine site activities.
• Comfort using basic hand tools under the guidance of skilled workers.
• Consistently follow instructions, safety rules and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Good housekeeping skills, including organized storage and timely removal of debris.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, physical stamina and willingness to work as part of a multicultural site team.
• Ability to identify and report hazards, damaged equipment or unsafe working conditions to the supervisor.
• Adaptability to changing work assignments and construction site conditions.
