Construction Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead day‑to‑day construction activities and site operations for building projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves coordinating contractors, consultants and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, to quality standards and in compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily construction activities and site operations.
• Lead contractors, subcontractors, consultants and project teams.
• Monitor project progress, programme, resources and construction sequencing.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical, construction and site coordination issues.
• Coordinate design changes, variations and additional works with stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor quality and workmanship.
• Support project completion, snagging, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi authority requirements and project procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 15–20 years of building construction experience.
• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on building projects.
• Mandatory SOE and DMT registration.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, methods, drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Primavera P6 knowledge is an advantage.
