Construction Manager – Artificial Island Offshore Topside Project

About the role

KBR Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead civil and underground infrastructure works for a major offshore topside installation on an artificial island. The role starts in an office setting before moving to a 6‑weeks‑on / 3‑weeks‑off offshore rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all onsite construction activities related to civil and underground infrastructure.
• Manage execution against schedule, specifications, drawings and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate daily activities of contractors, subcontractors, consultants and site supervision teams.
• Oversee piling, deep foundations, excavation, trenching, utility installation and cable laying.
• Review and monitor construction schedules, recovery plans and interface coordination between civil, MEP and utility packages.
• Participate in constructability reviews and work sequencing.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, local regulations and project specifications.
• Review and approve method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs) and construction procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale infrastructure construction projects.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary construction teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of HSE practices and quality assurance processes.
• Experience in offshore or artificial island projects is preferred.
