Construction Manager – G+11 Building Project

About the role

We are a building contracting company in Dubai seeking a highly practical, hands‑on Construction Manager to take full responsibility for daily site execution of a new G+11 residential building. This is a contractor‑side, site‑based role requiring a strong daily presence across all active work areas.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily site execution from mobilization through substructure, superstructure, finishes, testing, authority inspections and final handover.
• Identify drawing discrepancies, coordination conflicts and constructability issues before they affect progress.
• Conduct detailed daily site inspections, detect technical, quality, safety and sequencing problems, and lead corrective actions.
• Direct site engineers, foremen, subcontractors and labour teams; monitor manpower, productivity, materials and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate MEP, structural and architectural drawings, respond to consultant comments and challenge non‑contractual requirements.
• Prepare accurate daily and weekly progress reports, manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings and ensure timely approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of building construction experience in the UAE, including direct contractor‑side execution of at least one G+8 or higher project.
• Current residence in the UAE, fluent in English and able to read/write Arabic.
• Ability to lead engineers, foremen, subcontractors and labour teams on site and represent the contractor professionally.
• Willingness to work predominantly on‑site with daily physical inspections.

Required skills

• Strong practical knowledge of RCC structures, waterproofing, masonry, plastering, finishes and façade works.
• Experience with MEP coordination and ability to read and coordinate structural, architectural and MEP drawings.
• Proficiency in identifying technical and workmanship problems during site inspections.
• Capability to manage construction programmes, material procurement and subcontractor performance.
