Construction Manager – Hotel Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager with a strong civil engineering background to lead hotel construction projects across the UAE. The role involves overseeing all on‑site activities from mobilisation through to handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage site construction activities from mobilisation to handover.
• Oversee civil works including excavation, sub‑structure, super‑structure and finishing.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Ensure compliance with project schedule, budget, quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Manage site teams – engineers, supervisors, foremen and subcontractor workforce.
• Monitor daily progress and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Enforce QA/QC procedures and hotel brand quality standards.
• Integrate civil, architectural, structural and MEP works.
• Plan site logistics, material handling and resource allocation.
• Lead coordination meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to UAE authority regulations and HSE requirements.
• Support procurement and technical evaluation of subcontractors and materials.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience.
• Proven UAE experience with reputable main contractors.
• Hands‑on experience delivering 4‑star and 5‑star hotel projects.
• End‑to‑end experience in hotel project lifecycle (excavation to handover).
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority approvals, regulations and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
