Construction Manager – Project & Operations Lead

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead both strategic and operational aspects of construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. This role combines team management, risk mitigation, and day‑to‑day site supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic manpower plans, forecasting labor needs across project phases.
• Design team structures aligned with project requirements and optimise workforce productivity.
• Identify project risks (financial, safety, scheduling) and create mitigation strategies.
• Lead daily on‑site operations, coordinating stakeholders, subcontractors, and logistics.
• Create and monitor detailed project plans, timelines, budgets and resource allocations.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment and subcontractor services to avoid delays.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, building codes, safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing progress updates and addressing concerns.
• Track project costs, adjust operational strategies and keep budgets on target.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
