Construction Manager - Villas

About the role

Mace is seeking a Construction Manager to lead delivery of a large residential masterplan community of villas and townhouses in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on safety, quality, cost and programme performance while collaborating with subcontractors and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support team performance through coaching, technical development and performance management.
• Manage delivery of specific structure or fit‑out packages, ensuring quality, safety and programme adherence.
• Coordinate with package managers on programme alignment and critical‑path activities.
• Chair look‑ahead meetings to drive short‑term planning and coordination.
• Track planned vs actual progress and escalate deviations to construction leadership.
• Apply the project’s digital strategy and access construction information.
• Manage area close‑out, ensuring QA/QC compliance, ITPs and handover readiness.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Leverage best practices from centres of excellence and knowledge hubs.
• Drive sustainability goals contributing to net‑zero carbon efforts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project and construction delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience with large residential villa developments.
• Relevant technical qualifications such as a Managerial CSCS Card or SMSTS.
• Experience working in the United Arab Emirates for client approval.
