Construction Supervisor – E&I (PMC)

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor – E&I to act as the PMC representative on an ADNOC on‑shore project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves supervising EPC contractors, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, safety, quality and schedule requirements while delivering high‑profile oil and gas infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and monitor all construction activities performed by EPC contractors and their subcontractors.
• Review and enforce compliance with ADNOC on‑shore specifications, ASME B31.4/B31.8, API standards and project drawings.
• Conduct constructability reviews, manage change orders and support pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Maintain safety, quality and schedule performance, identifying slippage and recommending corrective actions.
• Liaise with ADNOC operations, procurement and project controls to align material deliveries and work‑order issuance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of pipeline construction experience in oil and gas, with at least 5 years in a PMC or client‑representative role.
• Proven experience on ADNOC on‑shore projects and strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards.

Required skills

• Electrical engineering expertise.

• Hydro‑testing and commissioning procedures.
