Construction Tech (Fab) – Materials & Data Management

About the role

The Construction Tech (Fab) supports the Smart Plant Construction team by providing practical solutions for material and data management within the fabrication discipline. Working on‑site in Dubai, you will ensure accurate handling of project materials, tools, and equipment while maintaining high‑quality data for reporting and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Perform administrative activities for Smart Plant Construction, foundation, and related systems.
• Query, structure, clean, and transform engineering and procurement datasets for imports, exports, analytics, and reporting.
• Develop and execute plans for material storage, handling, transport, and freight‑to‑manufacture (FTM).
• Manage material tagging, bagging, and reconciliation processes.
• Maintain records of shipped loose items, rented equipment, calibration certificates, special tools, and tackles.
• Track inventory of tools and tackles per discipline and identify shortages.
• Maintain master logs for plant & equipment, scaffolding, high‑value test equipment, and consumables.

Required profile

• Associate degree or diploma in Material Management.
• More than 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, fabrication, construction, marine, or petrochemical environments.
• Familiarity with offshore/onshore engineering 3D design and detailing tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
