Consultant Anesthesiologist – Full‑time in UAE

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its operating theatre, peri‑operative medicine and acute pain services. The position offers an experienced Consultant Anesthesiologist the chance to work in a modern, quality‑driven environment serving a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant‑level anaesthetic care for elective and emergency surgeries across multiple specialties.
• Conduct comprehensive pre‑anaesthetic assessments, risk stratification and peri‑operative optimisation, including for complex medical cases.
• Deliver general, regional, neuraxial and monitored anaesthesia care according to facility protocols.
• Manage airway emergencies, postoperative recovery, acute pain and peri‑operative complications.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, nurses and theatre teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Required profile

• Internationally trained Consultant Anesthesiologist with recognised specialist qualification (e.g., ABP, UK CCT/FRCA, European Diploma, Royal College, Canadian, Australian FANZCA, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and credentialing.
• Strong clinical judgement, commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills with culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
