Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi. The role involves diagnosing and managing complex cardiac rhythm disorders and performing advanced electrophysiology procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, SVT, ventricular tachycardia and other complex arrhythmias.
• Perform and interpret ECGs, Holter, event monitoring and electrophysiological studies (EPS).
• Execute advanced ablation techniques, including 3D electro‑anatomical mapping, cryoablation and pulsed‑field ablation.
• Implant and manage pacemakers, ICDs and CRT devices, and handle lead extraction when required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to cardiac rhythm clinics, teaching, research and quality improvement.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent with specialist/consultant qualification in Cardiology.
• Fellowship or advanced training in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Valid DOH (Abu Dhabi) license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Significant post‑specialisation experience in electrophysiology and complex ablation procedures.
• Strong communication, clinical decision‑making and teamwork skills.
