Consultant Cardiac Surgeon – Dubai

About the role

SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly qualified Consultant Cardiac Surgeon to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. The role involves delivering expert cardiac surgical care, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to excellent clinical outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre‑operative assessments and develop surgical treatment plans.
• Perform advanced cardiac procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting and valve repair or replacement.
• Provide full peri‑operative patient management, including intra‑operative care and postoperative follow‑up.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists and nursing teams.
• Manage complex and emergency cardiac cases as required.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Required profile

• American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent Western postgraduate qualification in Cardiac Surgery.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑specialisation experience in cardiac surgery.
• Proven expertise in complex cardiac procedures, especially CABG and valve interventions.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and patient management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
