Consultant Cardiologist – Heart Failure (Advanced) in Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiologist with advanced training in Heart Failure to join our Cardiology Department in Abu Dhabi. The role involves comprehensive management of acute and chronic heart failure patients and participation in developing an advanced heart failure service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist consultation and manage complex heart failure, cardiomyopathy and pulmonary hypertension cases.
• Assess patients for advanced therapies such as mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation.
• Run outpatient heart failure clinics and deliver inpatient consultation services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to clinical protocols, quality‑improvement and patient‑safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree, residency in Internal Medicine and accredited Cardiology fellowship.
• Additional fellowship or advanced training in Heart Failure/Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology is highly desirable.
• Board certification or recognized specialist qualification in Cardiology and eligibility for Abu Dhabi DoH licensure.
• Significant post‑specialist experience as a Consultant Cardiologist with dedicated heart‑failure expertise.
