Consultant Cardiologist

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiologist who specializes in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular diseases and delivering advanced cardiac care. The role involves complex case management, diagnostic investigations and collaboration with other specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias and hypertension
• Carry out cardiac assessments and build individualized treatment plans
• Perform and interpret investigations including ECG, echocardiography and cardiac stress testing
• Manage complex cases and provide long-term treatment and follow-up
• Perform relevant diagnostic and interventional procedures within the scope of clinical expertise
• Identify and manage acute cardiac conditions and cardiovascular emergencies
• Work with cardiac surgeons, intensivists and other specialists on patient care
• Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to clinical quality improvement

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• MD/DNB in General Medicine or equivalent, followed by DM/DNB or equivalent specialization in Cardiology
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level
• Experience managing complex cardiovascular conditions and interpreting cardiac investigations
