Consultant Cardiologist – UAE

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its cardiovascular services, cardiac diagnostics and heart care programmes and is looking for a Consultant Cardiologist. The role suits internationally trained specialists who want to work in a modern, quality-driven environment focused on clinical excellence, patient safety and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias and valvular heart disease
• Conduct and interpret cardiac investigations such as ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests and ambulatory cardiac monitoring
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans for acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
• Manage cardiovascular risk factors such as hypertension, dyslipidaemia and diabetes
• Provide inpatient consultations and coordinate care for patients with acute cardiac presentations
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and other specialists
• Educate patients and families on prevention, medication adherence and lifestyle change
• Maintain accurate clinical records and take part in audits, quality improvement and governance

Required profile

• Internationally trained Consultant Cardiologist with a recognised qualification (e.g. American Board, UK CCT / MRCP, European Board, Royal College of Canada, FRACP, Arab Board, or MD/DM/DNB/FCPS)
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing; applicants from the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, the Middle East, Africa and South America are welcome
• Strong clinical judgement, excellent communication with diverse patients and teams, and interest in long-term career growth
