About the role

The Consultant in Critical Care Medicine will join a multidisciplinary hospital in Sharjah, delivering evidence‑based care to critically ill adult patients. The role demands clinical excellence, patient safety, and coordination with a wide range of healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage critically ill adults in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans for complex, life‑threatening conditions.
• Perform critical‑care procedures in line with established clinical standards.
• Monitor patient progress, coordinate multidisciplinary care and optimise outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with quality‑assurance and patient‑safety protocols.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD with a recognised postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 + years of hospital experience in Critical Care Medicine.
• Proven experience managing patients in an ICU setting.
• UAE medical licence (DHA, MOH, SHA) or eligibility to obtain one.
• Preference for candidates from India and immediate joiners.
