Registered Nurse - OPD (Sharjah)

About the role

The Registered Nurse will work in the Out‑Patient Department (OPD) at Sunny Speciality Medical Center in Sharjah, providing comprehensive patient care and education. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs while collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform systematic patient assessments, record vital signs, and identify nursing diagnoses.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the inter‑professional team.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Provide wound care, assist in medical procedures, and ensure safe patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and provide emotional support.

Required profile

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse with the relevant UAE health authority.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus.
• Willingness to work across departments as needed.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation.
• Medication administration and monitoring.
• IV therapy and blood product handling.
• Wound care management.
• Use of electronic medical record systems for clinical documentation.
