Consultant – Fetal Medicine (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant in Fetal Medicine to join our multidisciplinary team in Dubai. You will provide expert diagnosis, counseling and management of fetal conditions and high‑risk pregnancies, working closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, geneticists and pediatric specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced fetal imaging, including detailed anomaly scans and fetal echocardiography.
• Diagnose, evaluate and manage fetal abnormalities using ultrasound and other prenatal diagnostic techniques.
• Provide prenatal counseling to expectant parents regarding prognosis and management options.
• Conduct or supervise invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS).
• Carry out fetal therapeutic interventions, including fetal blood transfusions and fetoscopic procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, teaching, research and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fellowship or certification in Fetal Medicine from a recognized international body.
• Minimum 5 years of consultant‑level experience in a tertiary care hospital.
• Western education or experience in a recognized healthcare system (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.).
• Valid DHA, DOH or MOH Consultant licence.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills; fluency in English (Arabic advantageous).
